There are three main theories that underpin the origins of Trampolining. The first is that Eskimos used to throw each other up into the air using walrus skins. The second is that it originated in England when people used to propel each other into the air with blankets. The third theory is that trampolining originated when a trapeze artist called Du Trampolin used a trapeze safety net to propel himself into the air.
